Biology 448B is a 3-credit undergraduate seminar offered at the University of British Columbia starting in January 2008. The goal of the course is to take a multidisciplinary approach to the study of the diseases most common to the tropics, and the factors that maintain those diseases and contribute to their spread. As a student-directed seminar, this course has been both created by students and will be shaped by student discussions and input throughout the term.

Questions about the course can be directed to biol448b@gmail.com.
